While the room just has a fridge and kettle, we also had access to a communal area for breakfast and simple meals (microwave, toaster oven, and dishes (no cookware). Train 8 minutes walk, ferry 20 minutes (with an 1.30 euro elevator down cliff to dock if you have mobility challenges). Great supermarket's 3 minutes away and many great restaurants. "Very convenient location to the train station, grocery stores, cafes and restaurants. We were able to get to all our destinations very easily (Pompei, Sorrento, Amalfi and Positano). Our host Francesco was very helpful in answering all our questions. Town feels very safe. Building entrance is run down but the actual flat is quite nice. Only thing missing is an iron for clothes. Great stay! "

"Room was very clean and nice. Same for bathroom. We had to walk from station to the location with luggages, couldn’t find any Taxis or Uber… problem in Salerno no taxis even on our way back. BlueMare very nice and right on the beach but overall Salerno is not made for tourists."

"Get the room with the view, fabulous view, and a big terrace. Good breakfast room, and was an easy walk to downtown. I thought the walk back was going to be a little hard, but was easy. Very relaxing atmosphere, and nice and quiet at night. I would recommend as a place to stay. There was a parking lot within 25 metres."
