"Great breakfasts and fabulous dinners with dramatic sunset views. Costas is an amazing server at breakfast and gave us great tips on where to go. The pool was only 23 C so a bit cold."
"About 15 minutes from the airport we arrive at Desiterra resort, located on the east side of the island, a tranquil beautiful spot directly overlooking the sea. Stunning views of other islands of Anafi and Amorgos. The dawn sunrise is simply breathtaking my advice is get up witness it even if you have to go back to bed. The resort is a 5 minute walk along the beach to a lovely little cafe restaurant by the local harbour again amazing for sunrise.
If you are a runner the roads are reasonably safe this time of year. Get that dawn run done.
The resort is isolated but for us that was perfect the resort runs a shuttle bus dependent on your activities and budget it's this or a hire car. The resort will organise the hire for you but you can get better deals.
We hired a car and have litterly been everywhere.
We stayed in The blue monkey, (wall painting from ancient akrotiri) traditional vaulted ceiling villa tiled throughout. Air-conditioning hot and cold, walk in shower with rain shower and hand shower. The bed is situated on a mezzanine overlooking the lounge kitchen area. The kitchen is well appointed kettle coffee machine (illy iperespresso) odd pods. You can buy locally but room service give you two daily. The cleaners are meticulous in their attention to detail.
Staff are fantastic Sandesh thankyou.
5 star all of the staff"
"If I was able to rate 15/10, then I do it. It is a quite location but accessible to transport. The room and property and inside restaurant are clean and confortable. The food in the restaurant is really good with a nice menu. What can I say about the view on the sea / caldeira other than magnific. We also see the amazing sunset. Now for the personnal, they are all fantastic, welcoming, helpful and more. If I come again, I will book at Lilium at 100%.

"Konstantina and Krystallia at the front desk were extremely helpful and welcoming. Our stay at this property was a wonderful experience from start to finish. The hotel is relatively new, very clean, and well-maintained.
There are plenty of safe and convenient parking options available. The location is ideal—centrally situated in Santorini, close to both the airport and Fira, making it very easy to get around the island.
The breakfast was enjoyable with a good variety. Although the weather was a bit chilly and we couldn’t use the swimming pool, it looked beautiful and offered great views.
I would definitely recommend this property to anyone planning a holiday in Santorini."
"Couldn’t be closer to beach. Exceptionally friendly staff including reception, ladies at breakfast, waiting staff and Elsa, Maria, Taryk. Very clean, amenities good. Great sized room (economy triple) and quality food. "
"Book this property! I promise it will exceed your expectations. This place made our trip truly memorable from start to finish.
The staff was absolutely amazing — warm, attentive, and genuinely invested in making sure we had a wonderful stay. Upon arrival, they immediately greeted us, took our bags to our room, and made sure we felt completely settled in. During check-in, they thoughtfully asked about any food allergies to note on our account. As someone with Celiac disease, this meant so much to me. I had zero issues with the food on site — the servers and bartenders were already informed of my gluten allergy and remembered it every time we visited a restaurant. That level of care and attention was truly exceptional.
The facilities were stunning and beautifully maintained. The entire property truly felt like a luxury resort. We were given a golf cart tour upon arrival, where staff showed us the spa, on-site restaurants, gym, and the various pools. It was the perfect introduction and made navigating the property so easy.
While Kamari may not be considered the most glamorous side of the island, we actually loved how quiet and secluded it felt. After visiting some of the surrounding cities, which were much busier and had hotel rooms backing directly onto the main tourist paths, we were especially grateful for the peaceful atmosphere here. Staying on this side gave us the perfect, easy access to explore, but a relaxing retreat to return to each day.
Would 100% stay again!!
