I booked in a rush and didn't realise this is no where near the airport (French side) - late at night no public transport options, so if you stay here budget an extra 35CHF for taxi to get to the airport. I think the problem is less ibis and more the listing in Hotels.com

The room was nice and clean although the pillow was too soft for my liking, they do provide an extra pillow however. The breakfast was average ( boiled eggs, scrambled eggs, croissant, pain au chocolate, tea coffee, water, bread cheese, fruit and yoghurt). To get to Geneva city centre there is the number 64 bus next to the hotel which takes you to a tram which you then board to get to Geneva Cornavin. To get to the airport, the hotel provided me with a link to book the shuttle bus which cost €30 for 2 people with small luggages. In the bathroom there is only showergel and you need to close the toilet lid for it to flush properly. All in all fine for a 1 night stay before going to the airport

Get a new receptionist

This hotel is grand for an airport stay and a typical Ibis but the receptionist when we arrived was one of the rudest and most unhelpful I have met in 20 years of travel. I enquired about the airport transfer which I was told after several attempts was €25, left only hourly and I would need to book 24 hours in advance which at check in after 4pm, is highly improbable if not impossible for most. The receptionist was so arrogant and impersonal about the whole exchange I got fed up even trying so just decided to get an Uber which was €5 cheaper and left whenever I wanted to I highly recommend doing the same. Tony the barman on the other hand was fantastic and head and shoulders above the pompous individual who is the face of your business when arriving.

La chambre était propre et convenable. Le petit déjeuner inclu était correct, mais non conçu pour l’arrivée d’une grande quantité de voyageurs à la fois… L’emplacement de l’homme n’est pas idéal pour le transport en commun vers Genève (frais supplémentaires car hors de la zone de Genève) et il n’y a aucune attraction et peu d’options de restaurant près de l’hôtel.
