"Had a little mishap and somehow when I showed up I was told that the room was double booked but the hotel gave me an apartment a few blocks away instead which was a lot larger but had a clogged sink and insufficient tissues and soap. The staff though were extremely nice and accommodating and helped move my luggage and were very apologetic. Great value for the cost and I would come back."

"This is a new hotel with great, modern decor, exceptionally clean, a professional, helpful staff, and family-friendly rooms. I was able to book a king with two twin beds for my teen sons. Jon & D spoke excellent English, are customer service-oriented, and take pride in their work. Jon's family owns the hotel and their attention to detail in the decor and amenities shines through. It's a 3-minute walk to the shops around the river and stone bridge. It's also in sight of the castle. I've traveled all thru the Balkans and I don't think you'll find a nicer hotel in Kosovo. The only caution is if you drive a larger vehicle or are not comfortable with the narrow local streets then you may want to park near the river in a public lot. The location is ideal, the hosts outstanding, and our stay made our visit to Prizren a stand out experience. I highly recommend the Makadam!"

"The hotel is new and the staff makes every effort possible to make you feel great. It has everything you need, the bed is comfortable and the breakfast is excellent. But again, the best of this hotel is its staff. It is perfectly well located. Would stay here again if I’m ever back in Prizren"
