"I stayed in this hotel about 9 years ago and the difference between then and now is astonishing. The hotel needs to undergo repair, maintenance, and refurbishment...the sink in the bathroom was cracked, the toilet paper holder was broken and about to fall off the wall, and there were broken tiles around the pool outside. The staff has also gone downhill. I attempted to set up a airport transfer a few days before the arrival (as it stated on their page that they offer an airport shuttle if you reserve it 48 hours in advance). After repeated phone calls, whatsapp messages, and emails, I could not get through to the hotel staff. I even contacted Hotels.com and they attempted to contact the hotel THREE times and could not get the hotel to answer their phone. At this point it made me worried that the hotel was not open any longer. I tried to contact them for two days and they NEVER picked up their phone or answered emails or whatsapp messages during that time. Finally the night before the arrival, they responded to an email with no explanation for their absence. They suggested that I was just dialing the wrong number. The food was no longer as good as it was the first visit. And on the way back to the airport, the hotel insisted that they DIDN'T offer a shuttle to the airport. It seems as though the hotel is financially failing, not training their staff, and running out of ways to fund its operations. Poor service all around."

"arrived on the public bus from Foz, Brazil (now expensive for non locals at 35 Reales(17 for locals)). temperature 93F and uncomfortably humid but reception nice and cool, like an oasis. had to pay large local “environment” tax (not welcome), but receptionist kind & understanding, quick & efficient. nice room with efficient A/C & BATH TUB - WITH PLUG, a real bonus. clean & roomy but a bit old fashioned (apart from encapsulated QR code info which I Ignored! stayed 5 nights & room wonderfully quiet - I didn’t hear any noise at all during the entire time. balcony (and no bugs or mosquitoes) no nice for relaxing. tv system incredibly complicated but good once maintenance explained key facts! public bus from falls will stop outside if you stay on when it reaches the terminus & ask driver for Avenida Tres Fronteras” food exceptionally good & well priced with huge fillet steak for usd 20. bar at pool until restaurant opens at 8pm (book on arrival as this time sells out fast & next service at 10pm! thoroughly recommended "

"Estrutura: Linda, imita Jesuíta e inclusive dentro do hotel tem um museu falando sobre a história, muito verde, manutenção em dia, limpo. Comida: Café da manhã delicioso e restaurante da noite bem renomado ($$ preparar o bolso); Comodidade: Tenho rinite e sinusite e com o quarto não tive nenhum problema respiratório, paredes limpas, sem mofos, ar gelando, banheiro limpo, cama muito confortável; Equipe: Funcionarios ótimos, prestativos e educados, a maioria entende mais de uma língua; Área externa: Muito verde, tem muitas belezas junto a estrutura, piscina limpa, academia com estrutura o suficiente para ser feito o treino e sala de massagem caso tenha interesse com pacotes a partir de 190,00; Outra observação que gostei é que no banheiro conta com um secadorzinho de cabelo, eles disponibilizam adaptador para as tomadas já que a entrada é diferente e gostei muito também que nos disponibilizou ferro (ja fui em hotéis do mesmo nível em que solicitei e não tinha). De modo geral nossa experiência foi 10/10 para o que promete e oferece, é realmente 4 estrelas. Dica: Trocar o dinheiro por peso ou usar cartão internacional e pagar a taxa pois se for pagar em real o cambio é bem abaixo que na casa de câmbio e também, no checkin é necessário pagar uma taxa de turismo para cada hospede que em 3 pessoas deu entre 150-200,00 reais ao todo.
