"The little restaurant opposite the buffet is really nice, the staff is wonderful! The food is better than the buffet, but a very limited menu, I would suggest a choice of the day to add diversity.
No other good restaurants in the neighborhood of the hotel. "
"This hotel is completely run down, very interesting history as it's built in 1912, but completely neglected. The neighborhood is also not great. Unfortunate that such a historic place is being lost."
"Was alone most of the time, only person running the restaurant was around. Good food. Not really good beach, hard rocks underfoot in water. Town doesn’t have much to say for itself. But if you want tropical quiet then this is the place."
"This hotel is old, needs some work and in general musty. We booked here because we were going on a cruise, it’s close to a very nice Mall with lots of food options. Colon is neither attractive or visitor friendly. If it’s one night for a cruise, fine, otherwise stay in Panama City and drive up for your embarkation."
" I will never stay at this place again. There was not even a fitted sheet for the bed. Toilet don’t flush. No lamps. It was like surviving on a deserted island. I live in San Carlos Panama. My friend was visiting from the United States and does not have a great impression after sleeping in a bed that sunk in. The lock on my room broke and when I left to go to neighboring businesses my personal belongings were left unsecured. The lock was fixed the night before our departure. We stayed for 4 days and 3 nights. Money wasted. "
"We absolutely loved this place, it’s such a lovely setting and the pool is superb. Crystal and the staff were lovely and so sweet with our young son. The food and trips are fantastic. A brilliant place to stay. "
"Amazing location, beautiful vistas of mountains, forest and ocean. Very relaxing environment with infinity pool. Well maintained grounds. Wonderful breakfast and dinners. Jose and Anna were amazing hosts.
