Fantastic property. We saw more wildlife in this property than in Cahuita National Park. Jenny and Emilio are both super warm, hospitable and accommodative. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. 🙂🙂

Jenny was a fantastic host! Woke up to a morning after pouring rain on departure day and she met us at the ATV with towels to dry the seats to help as we were in a rush. The place was beautiful and we will definitely return.

What an amazing experience to live in the garden jungle surrounded by nature and wild animals. We saw and heard so many animals during the day and at night. Super kind owners (also lives on the property) and staff. Free walking around with the gardener in the garden to see lots of animals. Supermarkets and restaurants in Waking distance. Car/bikes required. Very well equipped kitchen, free laundry service and cleaning. Highly recommended!!!!

Lindo hotel cerca de la playa.

El mejor lugar donde descansar y relajarse. Excelentes habitaciones con cocina, mucha privacidad (lejos de otras habitaciones), excelente atención. Definitivamente un lindo hotel para visitar el Caribe costarricense.

La Finca Chica es un sitio muy acogedor. Tanto el propietario como la persona encargada del mantenimiento de la finca, Aurealiano, están muy pendientes de que todo esté correcto. Ademas, el propietario, Emilio, te ayuda con contactos de la zona que son de su confianza para que tengas el viaje más seguro posible, lo cual es de agradecer. Solo eché en falta un secador para el pelo.

Absolutely gorgeous bungalow. Everything you dream of when staying in Costa Rica. Property had everything you could need, was set in beautiful gardens and very private. Hosts were friendly and helpful. Highly recommend!

Beautiful private apartment bungalow

We stayed for 7 nights and enjoyed it very much - very relaxing days well spent. It was super comfortable, private, clean and had a beautiful garden right around you. Everyone was helpful and very nice! For us it was perfectly located in Cocles, with a supermarket right at the main street, beaches and activities in walking (or biking) distance.

Stunning house within tropical garden near beach

We stayed at the “Beach House” which was an absolutely stunning house and just a short walk to a beautiful little beach at Playa Chiquita. You can also walk to Punta Uva along the coast which is one of the best beaches in Puerto Viejo. Jenny was friendly, helpful and always with a smile and was always available if we needed anything. The house itself is beautiful and it felt very special to stay here with stunning grounds and amazing wildlife. There was a cleaner who came each day and left the entire house spotless.

Loved It!

We loved our stay at La Finca Chica! The host and his family made us feel right at home and very helpful with questions. The house is in the rain forest and has private access to the beach just a short stroll away. We seen so many beautiful birds, animals and critters. This place is perfect for a family with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. You should stay here to get the full Costa Rican vibe!

Rumble in the jungle

Nice 2 day stay t the Caribbean coast. A nice wooden finca in the middle of a private jungle-like garden with lots of wildlife. A nice bungalow with a big open space, two smaller sleeping rooms with small queen size beds, shared bathroom and a self-service kitchen (where we only used the fridge). We ate out - both days we went to the French baker close to the residence for breakfast. Be prepared for windows without glass - but you can close the shutters if that gives you some more comfort during the noisy night (thanks to the howler monkeys and other animals) Plesantly surprised to see that we didn’t meet many mosquitos. It was beginning of rain season when we were there, and were not prepared for the high humidity that made drying (bathing)clothes and towels a difficult process. All in all - a nice and private stay close to the jungle (I even saw a keelbilled toucan one early morning).
