The facility is old and not maintained properly. Bathrooms and showers are moldy. Stone fell off on our foot at one of the restaurants. Poor customer service.

We stayed at the Barcelo Beach adult only. We did the premium package. The VIP desk and lounge is a joke. They were not very helpful. No premium liquer or drinks at all. Not like other Barcelo's. The room location was great. We were on the third floor but there are two elevators and they were fast. ...

Staff was rude. No Ac, dirty spots on the comforters. Room had dirty areas. Pool areas filled with dirty towels. Did not enjoy it here. Not coming back to the DR
