"Great room and staff and a good location. The breakfasts were quite plentiful and good food. The only problem is we wish the horseback riding and sailing were available."
"We loved our stay at this beautifully designed hotel. The views are amazing, the food and wine are delicious, and best of all, the owners Monica and Rodrigo, and the staff are so welcoming, friendly, and helpful. Chiloé is definitely worth a visit, and the Estancia is in a fantastic location with lots to see and do. Even though we were only there for a couple of days, we still managed to visit Castro, hike in the national park, and take a boat trip to see the penguins at Punihuil on our way back to Chile. We really hope we’re lucky enough to come back one day. We need more pisco sour!"
"Wonderful location, secure parking and super friendly staff.
Walking distance to all the sights of Castro. Warning if you plan to arrive into Castro after 6pm the traffic is dreadful!!"
"This is a fantastic property in Cucao, ideal for a few days of peace and quiet. The reception staff are very helpful and the rooms are a good size and well appointed (all have en suite bathrooms) and all have views out across the lake. The kitchen and lounge facilities are shared with the other guests, but this allows conversations and swapping tips about what to do and how to do it. It is easy to walk 5 mins down the road to visit the national park and there is a local bus that can take you to other viewpoints (e.g. Muelle de las Almas) but it only ran once up and once back per day when we were there. They do have a hot tub (wood fired, outdoors, uses the lake to source its water) which you can book at reception (they like 24 hours notice). Works better if you have a car (we did not, travelled to Cucao by local bus) and there is a local mini market for food supplies (they do not sell alcohol and they are the only shop in the village). There are restaurants and cafes within walking distance, but they are not all open all the time (we were there early season, so half of the restaurants were closed) and sometimes close early."
"Espectacular atencion, hotel con espacios muy comodos, ideal para descansar o salir de paseo si uno quiere.
Habitacion con una vista muy linda y tamaño perfecto.
Comida de muy buena calidad e intersante las propuestas de menus de experiencias que cambian cada comida."
"Did not like ground floor rooms, no view, no air, no paint on walls or carpet on floor, thin walls, very noisy 😞
Higher floor had better views and were more spacious.
Restaurants had little choice, having run out of most choices we made."
