"The Golden Butterfly Villa is a nice property, well-maintained and in good repair, conveniently located a few minutes' walk from the Siem Reap River, Night Market, Old Market, Pub Street, and more for your entertainment and dining. The hotel is comfortable and clean, and is in a quiet spot about 50 m away from the street. There is a school next door, so there is some sound from it, but to my party the sound of children proved to be a feature, not a bug. My most important impression of the Golden Butterfly Villa is that the staff were just wonderful! They really made the stay comfortable and convenient. They greeted us warmly each time we came or went, gave us cool, scented towels to refresh us when we came home from our excursions each day, and even helped us plan out how to go different places and how long to spend there. They have a driver available, who did airport transfers for us and also took us sightseeing by tuk-tuk for one afternoon, to several places we wanted to go; he can also do private tours as a guide - he speaks good English. Overall, I would absolutely choose this property again for another stay. "
