"The apartments are very basic and dated - and our air con was pretty poor (room 1112). Luckily we were there in September and not July! The pool areas are nice and clean. Very clean and lots of little shops. All the restaurants were mainly Italian and seafood, went to Vilamoura for more variety but Quarteira was a good base
