"Excellent hotel and pub. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was also excellent and wonderful value for money. The rooms were a good size, wonderfully clean and had everything you would need, including an iron and ironing board. So good that we are booking a return visit!"

"This hotel provided a reasonably sized and comfortable room. The bathroom, although a bit small, was well-organized, making it convenient for guests. The breakfast was excellent value for money, offering a variety of hot food options. However, the bathroom had a very unpleasant smell that persisted throughout our entire stay of six days. I suspect it was coming from the shower curtain fabric or the sewer line. Additionally, the bathtowels were not made of cotton."

"No hot water and when we arrived (it had clearly been an issue as we heard other guests talk about it) no one mentioned it. Someone from our party went to ask reception and they were very dismissive. The next day still no hot water, I understand they couldn’t have fixed it there and then but they could if been proactive is telling us and offering to try and fix it."

"For what you pay, this is an excellent place to stay when visiting Hereford, but it is really a room only property. It is situated a couple of miles outside Hereford, in a quiet countryside setting, so is nice to unwind at. There is a continental breakfast available for only £5, but this could not be booked through the Expedia site. "Lovely period gastopub right on the river Lugg. Lovely light and fresh accommodation. Food all delicious with a great selection. Their eco wellness spa facilities was a real treat to hire as well, a gorgeous spot to relax in. My wife loved her massage with Charlene as well. Definitely recommend"

"The photos of this property are completely misleading, as in reality it is very very different! The room was small, nowhere to put anything, the en-suite was tatty with broken shelf over sink, dirty mirror and a shower that was pretty poor! The room was cold & uninviting! Other parts of the property were full of clutter & just looked uncared for and needs a complete overhaul. I can’t believe we paid good money to stay here!! "
