"Booked this room because it said an RV park and motel on the lake. We were looking for a place family could stay in the motel and we could camp during the Crappie Fest next year. What a joke! The RV park is a trashy full-time trailer park. The so-called convenience store had zero air conditioning, nothing on the shelves and definitely nothing to order for dinner. "There were somethings I loved and some I did not. Loved: proximity to shopping, food options and ETAMU Loved: they let me daughter check in and collected payment from me over the phone Loved: my daughter is pregnant and didn't like the smell of the room, they moved her until she was okay. Excellent customer service, the staff was friendly and attentive. Breakfast had quite a few options. Did not love: hotel in disrepair, I literally took a piece of corner siding to the front desk after it...

"Very nice and clean rooms. The staff was very friendly and courteous. The free breakfast was more than plentiful. There were plenty of options for lunch and dinner near the hotel. It was also located near where we had planned on visiting our family while in Forney. We really enjoyed the whole experience."

"Very nice facility, exceptionally friendly staff and decent breakfast. Housekeeping was available every day and my only complaint was carpet that needed steam cleaning--if you walked around barefooted you needed to wash your feet before getting into bed."

"This location has the best night shift attendant. She helped us with a room on the first level and was just super friendly and down to earth. She is the main reason I am giving this such a high score. Our room smelled like mold as soon as you opened the door. Plus they have old nasty crusty red couches with ottoman in the room that have outlived their purpose and then some. I was afraid to set anything down on them. Other than that the room seemed clean but I expect a little more for my money ya...

"When checking in, requested ground floor room, as I cannot climb stairs. Found that AC did not work properly. Staff member quickly replaced unit while we were out for dinner. Beds are comfy. Morning breakfast did not have decaf coffee."

"Would have liked a little more in the breakfast offerings. My room also had an odd spot on the floor that clearly was a bad install and was just covered. So you had this random jump in the room"

"The room was small. Not sure what they were thinking putting TWO beds in that room, because it would still be a small room with one bed in it! The mattresses were not comfortable at all, the reason we got a different hotel and stayed an extra night is because me, and non of my fellow travelers got any sleep...."

"There's nothing l like about the hotel, it's was very dirty and cigarettes smelling all around the place, even the staff was smoking within the hotel."

"Everyone was so nice. I even dropped a bottle of wine in the lobby and they were so helpful about cleaning it up. Didn’t want me to touch a thing. Breakfast is a decent continental breakfast."
