However, the experience is somewhat spoilt by the persistent and rather annoying taxi and horse carriage drivers gathered at the entrance which unfortunately is the case for most of Luxor. It would greatly improve guest comfort if they were positioned further away from the hotel. Additionally, the presence of horse waste on the road leading to the entrance area is both unpleasant in appearance and smell, which impacts the overall impression.
