"I just had a 48 hour layover between London and Melbourne so spent 2 days at the hotel by the beach - couldn't fault the stay. One issue with a flooding shower on night 1 but they fixed it immediately and couldn't have been more helpful. Would stay again."

"The hotel is a great location staff were impressive. However we were never told about the building works going on extending the hotel rooms right by the pool area on the tenth floor. This which would have been an excellent tranquil experience was ruin by the constant grinding and hammering noise which never stopped. Also the levels of safety on display from the contractors working on it was shocking. No edge protection one worker nearly fell over a hundred foot drop when he stumbled. Not great to see, these guys were working for less than £5 a day for twelve hours. Debris and scaffolding poles did drop over the edge while we were there."

"Everything was absolutely great here EXCEPT they charged me a hefty fee to get into my room a few hours early after a long overnight flight when I just needed to sleep. The room was clean and available, but they didn't let me in without paying extra. I was already paying a lot for a nice room so that annoyed me. And I checked out the night before and of course they didn't give me any money back for leaving 14 hours early. A premium hotel with nice employees and excellent food. BUT little things like that charge for a room that was mine and empty will linger with me in my memory of their approach to their guests."
