Tulfarris Hotel & Golf Resort

"Rooms were spacious, and decorated to a high standard. Breakfast was delicious. A member of staff took us to a nearby village as we couldn’t get a taxi, which was very thoughtful. Food and drinks in the brasserie bar were reasonably priced. We had spa treatments and both enjoyed it, but the sauna and jacuzzi experience was a bit odd as it’s not properly connected to the spa and we had to use towels from the gym to shower after. The Fairways Restaurant was good but the food was nothing special and the price seemed very elevated. We preferred the meal we had in the nearby Ballymore Inn. Overall a lovely hotel with a great - although my fairly challenging - golf course"
Killashee Hotel

"Unfortunately bedroom was sweltering, room temperature 28 degrees. No air conditioning in the room. Used two fans but room remained very hot and made sleeping or resting in the room very difficult. Otherwise we had a lovely stay. Beautiful setting and staff very helpful."

"Though the rooms have definitely not been renovated in quite some time, the property was clean and well maintained with fun decor throughout. Though I would have appreciated a small outdoor seating area or garden, the restaurant attached to the hotel made up for that and then some. The staff at the hotel and Gallops restaurant were fantastic and the food there was incredible. Best dinner I’ve had in a while!"

The Keadeen Hotel

"Keadeen Hotel is located on the south edge of Newbridge close to the Curragh racecourse. With plenty of parking and immaculate gardens the hotel looks stunning. Reception staff very friendly and helpful as are all the staff we encountered. Breakfast was buffet style with plenty of options and really tasty. We ate dinner in the restaurant and it was delicious but such big portions. We had the bridal suite as an upgrade and it was out of this world. So clean. The only problem we had was a drop in water pressure and on two occasions there was no water in the room. We were offered a different room but it didn’t affect us much and the staff quickly stocked us with bottle water. The pool, jacuzzi and steam rooms were an added bonus. I will definitely return to this grand hotel."

"The location and setting of the hotel was perfect -- literal steps from the monastic ruins and Wicklow Mountains National Park. The hotel itself was very clean and the staff was helpful and friendly. I would recommend this place to anyone who would listen."
