A pleasant surprise, a well run hotel!

What a great surprise this hotel was! After many poor visits to other hotels nearer Dublin, this was a lovely and well run hotel. We very much looking forward to visiting again in the near future.

I stayed at Tulfarris Hotel & Golf Resort for 2 nights. The resort is set in a truly beautiful location with a vast estate that feels very peaceful. The rooms are large, comfortable, and spotless, and the gym is well equipped. I was especially impressed with the food at the bar – the Gourmet Lamb Burger and the slow-cooked Veal Shank were outstanding. Staff throughout the hotel were welcoming and friendly, adding to the positive experience. On the downside, breakfast was a little underwhelming – the choice was limited and the quality didn’t quite match the other dining experiences. Despite the estate’s size, there are no walking trails, which feels like a missed opportunity. Also, the tap water came out brown, which wasn’t ideal. Overall, this is a solid 4-star experience – a beautiful place to relax with excellent bar food and friendly service, but with a few areas that could be improved.

Rural & peaceful location

Friendly and helpful reception staff. Exceptionally clean room with everything you need for a pleasant comfortable stay. Breakfast on the 2nd morning was self-service rather than table service. Leaving the selection limited. Despite that I'd be happy to stay there again.

Enjoyed 3 night stay in the middle of a 12 day trip, clean and spacious rooms. Front desk and golf desk folks were very accommodating in helping us get rental clubs and tee times at the last minute. Breakfast was excellent and the food in the pub was good. We did not get to the fine dining restaurant because we didn’t have appropriate clothes with us. We liked it so much we added a night and cancelled our next stop.

Lovely hotel for couples break

We had a lovely stay at Tulfarris Hotel. The food was excellent, room lovely and clean and great selection of channels and options for streaming. One minor bug bearer was the over attentiveness at dinner time woth resfaurant staff asking every few minutes if everything was ok. Excellent chef though and food was perfect

This was a great place to stay. Only issue was that the water wasn't drinkable. They had notes in the room and made sure there was plenty of still water for you to use and drink. I'm sure this was a temporary thing but the notice didn't say.
