"Amazing flat with the best terrace ever. If you don’t get good weather, it’s a bit disappointing that you can’t enjoy the outside space.
The flat is warm, spacious with good kitchen equipment. The rooms are comfortable, as is the lounge. The shower is great and nice shower towels too. Remember it is self catering, so things like shampoo and bath soap are required, as is more than 1 toilet roll if you are staying several days. There are oven gloves and 1 tea towel but you need to bring your own...

"This beautifully quaint cottage is perfectly situated in the centre of Lyme Regis, on a historic Saxon lane. The hustle and bustle of the town cannot be heard from the cottage or the charming garden, with a rooftop and green hilly view. I would definitely recommend and come back if in the area again. It was clean, very well equipped and full of old architectural features, my sister, brother and my dog loved it. Thank you for letting us stay and feel so comfortable."

"We stayed here for a couple of nights on a short tour of the Jurassic Coast. The location is spectacular and you can almost step out onto the beach. There is a lovely bay window which you can sit in and watch the world go by listening to the sound of the waves. If only this had been a nice padded seat, I might not have wanted to leave. Parking is a bit of a problem in Lyme Regis but there was no noise from the restaurants below, which I thought might be a problem"

"We had a nice stay at The Dolphin breakfast and evening meal very good. We were in a “ deluxe “ room, and yes the bed was lovely and comfortable and the room pleasant, however the bathroom was very small with nowhere to put anything except the floor and not even a hook on the door. The biggest problem was the sink, which was a tiny hand wash one."
"Really nice hotel in great location. Expect to be woken up early with staff and deliveries. Bathroom could do with a bit more of a thorough clean. We didn't have any remotes for the TV in our room we asked for one but it still didn't work. We had a couple of flies bussing round but we sorted that out."
"Near to the station (& the High Street is almost on your doorstep). Great town & hotel is in easy reach of various attractions (maybe a lick of paint in the room wouldn’t hurt, but beds comfy). We went to a day festival at Vivary Park, which is a 15-20 min walk. It did rain, but everything dried out in our room overnight (Room 40 is above the Boiler Room). We used a fan & opened window.
Staff kindly stored our luggage, when we went to lunch before catching a train home. They don’t do food, but loads of places nearby.
Plus the staff are lovely & so helpful."
"The overall experience was that if a relaxing stay. The staff were welcoming , pleasant surroundings in the hotel communal areas: the terrace, the pool, the dining room.
However we did feel the room we stayed in was a little tired and in need of a refurb. The chair cushions were stained; the bathroom was a little tired in need of a refresh; the internal windows needed a deep clean."
