Hotel Riu Montego Bay - Adults Only - All Inclusive

"We stayed there for 8 days and had to request a towel for outside the shower door, replacement of loofah towels and shower gel (was empty). I had to place a towel there and for 3 straight days the room service crew didn’t bother to remove it and place the correct towel. Instead they moved it to the side (not take it out) and leave us to step out of the shower directly on the floor. There is no direct dial for housekeeping. Reached out to the front desk and it was corrected. The room was not mopped during the stay. Our bed was made up but they removed the blanket because I used an additional blanket from the closet (which I needed but others probably didn’t). The breakfast staff was okay, much helpful and friendlier once they got tipped. Most part of the beach was blocked by the coconut trees. One can only enjoy the beach by walking/being on it, otherwise it’s limited view from the entertainment area, and better from the outside bar. Our biggest setback was the swim up bar. It’s always overcrowded and no one ever steps out to use the bathroom! Very disgusting. We visited last year and it was the same issue! There should be signs posted to inform these adults that they should step out to use the bathroom. People are in there for hours (we’ve purposely observed this). This was the same last year. The only problem that has not been addressed or corrected. We did notice some improvements from last time we visited like the outside tables and bathrooms being cleaned often."

"I enjoyed most of the time . Kinda disappointment when I was at the pool and was no one at pool bar and then he come with real nasty attitude. Other then that it was okay we was out mostly because of service"

"⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ **Come With the Right Expectations and You’ll Really Enjoy Toby’s** We genuinely enjoyed Toby’s Resort and would absolutely recommend it. The key is knowing what to expect: this is a comfortable, casual, laid-back Jamaican resort—not a polished luxury property. We loved that you really don’t need to leave the resort. The food was delicious and reasonably priced, the drinks were well mixed, and the bartender was amazing. Drivers are available on-site, and there’s even a floral shop. The pool area is a whole vibe! The pool is open all night, so you can relax, have drinks, socialize, or create your own little party atmosphere instead of heading to the nearby bars and clubs. Our bed was unusually comfortable—we got some of the best sleep we’ve ever had while traveling! Toby’s is also minutes from the airport, yet we heard virtually no airplane noise, and the Hip Strip and Doctor’s Cave are nearby. For realistic expectations: we had ants in our room, the property’s presentation was a little more modest than I expected from the pictures online, and service moves at a noticeably relaxed pace. It was never frustratingly slow, but should be noted if speed is a deal breaker for you. What Toby’s may lack in polish, it makes up for in character, convenience, value, great food and drinks, and a relaxed Jamaican feel. If that’s what you’re looking for, I absolutely recommend it. **We would happily stay again!**"

"I travelled solo to Roundhill. The hotel was perfect in every way. I have travelled extensively and I would rate the hotel as one of the best that I have ever stayed in. The Managing Director/General Manager is outstanding. The hotel employs over 300 staff who have been impeccably trained. It is very high end and I cannot find fault with anything that it does."
