"Coming to Belmar for the first time and expecting a quaint little hotel. Instead, we were welcomed with the lovely scent of cigarettes and run down everything. From the lobby to the 10x10 room for $235 a night, everything was a disappointment. Pool was not in working order and completely emptied. If I ever return to Belmar, I will definitely not be staying at this property."

"I was on a solo me-time vaca. I truly enjoyed my stay here. Marilyn was so sweet and funny. The staff were friendly. The place was very nice and looked newly remodeled. I loved the modern decor. Breakfast is included and was very good. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend to my friends. Also, it’s only a little over a block from the beach and you can walk around town. I didn’t need my car at all. I walked the boardwalk to Asbury Park and had dinner. Marilyn has bikes to rent...

"We had one of the most pleasant stays at a hotel that we’ve ever had. We were especially impressed with Tiara and how helpful and accommodating she was during our stay. A real standout!"

"The room was average. The bathroom had mold in the shower. I had to call maintenance to come and clean it with bleach. The bathroom had no towel bars, so I had to hang my wet towels and washcloth over the chair. I had to move the iron to another outlet in the room, but after all of the water spilled out of it because the iron shut off. The pillows were uncomfortable and so was the bed. Overall, 1/5 stars."
