"Staying here is like stepping back in time to a more elegant and refined era. The house is filled with antiques and has been decorated with great taste. It has a wonderful sitting area downstairs, and the bedrooms are whimsical and delightful. The breakfasts far exceeded my expectations. Maybe best thing of all is the proprietor, Holland. She is warm, engaging and thoroughly charming. My wife and I hope to have reasons to visit Spokane, again, soon, so we can stay here, again. "

"The facility was older but clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful. My room was satisfactory, but the bathroom was in poor shape. The bathtub had some type of epoxy like they use on boats all over the bottom of the tub. It was bumpy and peeling. The bathtub was very uninviting. I contemplated not showing because it looked like the stuff on the tub would come off. I would definitely not take a bath."

"The hotel is in historical downtown Spokane, a little hard to find the parking but we were able too, the hotel is amazing in good shape, old and high ceilings, so beautiful. Breakfast was included and there is an elevator. As a travel agent I would recommend this hotel to my clients and anyone that wants to stay in a character hotel. We will be back."

Close to downtown with plenty of food spots, things to do, and people out enjoying the area, it has that perfect balance of city life without feeling overwhelming. "Hands down best place to stay in Spokane area. Even better if you’re on a budget! We needed last minute lodging while traveling through the area with our pup. We also may or may not like to gamble and play video poker. We were also starving and it was 10:00 pm on a Wednesday. Lo and behold we found the Spokane Casino that was located just outside of town. Video poker earnings paid for lodging and dinner! They were super accommodating with our dog. Rooms were VERY clean and updated. Smelled...

"Nice stay. Bathroom counter and mirror is small people. A full length mirror would be helpful. The lighting does not seem adequate for the room but all in all, the stay was good."

"The room and check in staff was excellent. We were just disappointing in the breakfast. The coffee served at the restaurant was like flavored water. Almost like tea. Our food took 40 minutes to arrive even though there was only 1 other table occupied in the restaurant. We got the eggs Benedict with brisket and the meat tasted weird. Not spoiled weird but just a weird flavor that didn’t taste like brisket."
