"I stayed there a year ago and it was great. This time it seems to have gone down hill. Hard to find front desk people, they were on their phones saying inappropriate things while helping me. Rooms were good and clean, could use some updating. Halls and common areas were not as clean. This was my go to place but I won’t be staying there again. "

"What a hidden gem! We needed a place for our daughter's college graduation and this property still had availability! It is so neat with all the retro styling in decor, etc. Super friendly staff...breakfast was well supplied...we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and if we ever need to stay in the Kinston area again, this will be our first choice!! "I will never stay here again! The hallway smelled like a complete dumpster, the room literally had roaches and water bugs, the a/c literally had to be on 60 degrees for it be cool in the room, I seriously hated my stay and I'm 32 weeks pregnant I want a full refund!!! I'm pissed!!!!"

"Room was clean and quiet, bed was comfy and staff was friendly. Lots of parking and all was well lit. Only downfall was the carpet in our room was wet for both days we stayed (maybe freshly shampooed?) and we had to wear shoes at all times so our feet didn’t get wet :-("
