"Our rooms (Superior room with multiply beds) on two different stays were very excellent. Our first stay, we had staff go above and beyond to help us. One of our party had an accident and needed some extra care. They helped us out with letting us borrow the wheelchair for a day and getting us transportation to a hospital (a non emergency). "Clean and spacious room. The mattresses are okay. Room-reception distance is pretty far and no help with the luggage or when they forget to put the amenities; you have to get it yourself. There is a shuttle service 3x in 2 hours. Good restaurant in the hotel."

"The bedding, a huge duvet, was heavy and very hot for sleeping in a room with barely adequate air conditioning. The dense foam mattress only added to the heating. Ended up tearing the duvet apart and sleeping under the duvet cover. The main restaurant was closed for the summer (except for breakfast?) in an area with no nearby restaurants, The bar and grill was okay. The glass, swing door for the bathroom lacked privacy. The breakfast buffet was huge and good but very expensive."

Upon entering the bedroom there was stained carpets and a sewage smell coming from the bathroom. There was what looked like ketchup smeared above the mirror in the bedroom and stains in the carpet and the television did not work. "Be wary of staying on level 5 in summer as the air conditioning is not good. The room was warm and made for an uncomfortable to sleep. The room is also small and barely fits 2 suitcases and hand luggage. This is a smart room with an iPad in the room that lets you operate everything such as blinds, lights, air con. Some parts are excellent with others not good. The breakfast meal and downstairs area is excellent."

"We love staying at the Leeuwenhorst. It has a lot to offer. Free parking, it has beautiful woods behind the hotel for exercise and walks. The breakfast buffet has tons of good breakfast options. The sauna and gym is great to have on-site. It is located close to Noordwijk aan Zee."
