"We enjoyed our stay. The property is nice and close to everything . Unfortunately the staff at the restaurant lied to us which ended our anniversary stay on a sour note. After reading that creekside dining is not always available depending on the season we called to make sure we would sit creekside when booking our anniversary breakfast . The person booking our reservation over the phone assured us we would be able to sit creekside. Unfortunately when we arrived for our reservation we were told they were not seating creekside. Something we were truly looking forward to. We canceled our reservation and left the property disappointed . Not a great way to end our anniversary trip. "
"The Hotel has easy access to to Shopping and Restaurants. The on site Mole Restaurant did not have available seating during our stay.
Our room was a HUGE Disappointment. The bed was a queen, the patio was recessed below the road and had a lovely view of a cinder block wall. The room did not have a dresser with drawers or a closet, clothes had to be stacked in an entertainment center with cubby holes. Bathroom Vanity was small no shelves. We asked for another room and we were told none were available. The Hotel has an additional $50 a night RESORT FEE. The Breakfast was Meh- powdered eggs, fake guacamole, some meat protein and potatoes. The Yogurt had the best sides with Musli and Fruit compote."
"The room was clean and spacious for 2 travelers. Back porch was nice with great view of Thunder Mountain. Staff was great. Great location in Sedona. Pressure through shower head made it hard to rinse soap from hair - biggest complaint."
Hilton Vacation Club Los Abrigados Resort & Spa Sedona
2/10 Terrible
"When we arrived, we were not prepared for an immediate 30 minute sales pitch to buy in to the grand resort (not what you want, especially after a long day of travel). We said we were not interested three times before telling them we would think it over and follow up before we were allowed to leave to go to our rooms. Upon entering our room, we were met with a pile of dirty sheets and dishes from the previous guest. We called down to the front desk to have them removed. We left the resort for dinner and expected the soiled objects to have been removed but we had to call down to the desk again. At that time we were told that there wasn’t anyone available to come collect them. When someone did arrive the seemed put out to make it correct. We stayed for four nights and no house keeping was ever offered or attempted. If this is part of environmental impact it was never explained. I would have liked to have been prepared to take out the trash during my “grand vacation.” There was hair painted into the walls. The reservation was for a room with a view but the view was of the building behind it. Any time I went to the lobby you have to wait while staff talk to each other. Again, seemed like assisting a guest was a hassle. I was very excited because I have had good experience with other Hilton properties and the location of this one was great. The hotels lack of customer service, explanation of on going construction limiting amenities during the stay (i.e. no pool bar)."
"The room was very clean but the common areas not so much, Gym was dirty (couldn't use the yoga mat is was so filthy) and there were no spray bottles with cleaning towels to use after use.
Pool was full of dead insects.
Games room washroom was gross and needs a major update.
Never a good sign when there's a plunger next to the toilet."
