"The Truitt is an impeccable property with pristine service and quality. We enjoyed every minute of our stay here. Our room was beautifully decorated with an exceptionally comfortable bed. The bathroom was perfect with fluffy towels and everything you need for a perfect stay. The complimentary coffee with madeleines and fresh apples were a welcoming sight after a long day of traveling. The enchanting fireflies met us on the lawn as we made our way to the door with our luggage. A stay that will not disappoint. Book with confidence and enjoy the beauty and charm that this restored colonial house has to offer. We will be back the next time we travel through Kansas City."
