Hilton Hotels, River Grove, Chicago

"It’s a beautiful hotel with lovely staff. The beds were very comfy but the pillows have no neck support. We loved how close it was to Millennium park and how walkable the area was for finding dining options and seeing the sights. It’s only about one city block from the Art Institute and we got to walk by those beautiful lions every day. We did not try the restaurant but did have a drink at the Lockwood bar. The drinks were well balanced but it took forever to get drinks; I had to wait 15 minutes...

"I had a great stay at the Hilton - the suite was excellent and also quiet! The staff were also super friendly and helpful, especially the concierge. The hotel is also in a great and walkable location. The restaurant in the hotel (Chapel Street) is SUPERB - amazing coffee and amazing food. "

"The room is large and elegantly decorated. The king bed is very comfortable. Very large windows provide a great view. Nice refrigerator. Nice large flatscreen TV. Individual A/C control to allow the guest to adjust the setting. Great place to stay!"

"While The Drake is no longer at its peak, I would absolutely stay here again. The hotel is a bit dated, but charming in a historic way. Rooms are very comfortable, clean, and the service is very good. Hotel staff were great, and accommodated my requests. Location is great, walkable to all sorts of stores and restaurants. About as close to the lake as you can get. Only drawbacks are that The Drake no-longer houses prestige tenants (Chanel and Georg Jensen both moved out) so the street level feels...
