You get what you pay for lol, great for low budget

The food was the best part. The rooms are outdated but comfortable, my bed was broken and I noticed black mold on the back of the bathroom door. The A/C in my room would go into fan mode in the middle of the day when it was hot so it kinda forced you out the room. YOU MUST KNOW SPANISH! Only a few ppl spoke english. overall you get what you pay for. The views and quietness makes it great for relaxation.

I am from Tegucigalpa, Honduras. My family and I spent three days at Fantasy Island, it was an in budget family trip with buffet food and secluded beach area. The dishes were not spectacular but there was variety for each meal (meet, veggies, rice, fruits, desserts, and drinks etc.) The staff is amazingly helpful and kind, constantly taking care of the cleanliness of the beach. Bartenders are available until late hours preparing and serving drinks to all guest with smile. As a suggestion, they should improve the frequency of their housekeeping services. Otherwise, we had a great time and memories to share after our visit at Fantasy Island in Roatán, Honduras.

The property was being seriously renovated. The island itself was beautiful. The amenities are still questionable. Outside of just being on the beach. There were no water sports that did not cost. The buffet was okay, but nothing to really talk about. Getting around on the island is costly, from taxis to tours. This part, I do not understand.The majority of the non-tourists area require cash US Dollars

The pool was dirty. There was not electricity and their generators was not working. 2 days with no electricity no fans and not discount after sleeping in the hottest weather. The staff gave 1/2 service. They Need to improve the food menu. HOWEVER?, beaches are beautiful .

The hotel sells all inclusive resort they don't have wi-fi acces in the rooms,no shampoo, conditioner,lotion offer,the people at front desk are not very helpful o friendly,the people at the restaurants and activities are great but is not enough for what they sell on the website,no hot water in the shower the rooms if the ac is not working,the water is running all day long anyways they tried to do better but is not working the beach the views are amazing 😉 is a shame that they don't have a good management team.

Staff was great, they were all helpfull, rooms have poor maintenance they can improve that, no hot water on the property, public areas all great and clean. Pool was clear but something flowing over it was making it unconfortable. Bartender could really improve his skills. No signal on the property, none of the wi-fi work on the property. Breakfast was great, lunch and dinner could be better.

First - don’t go with any food allergies. I expand on the bottom. Love - the beach. That’s the most amazing part. You can snorkel past the boat lanes to reef and it was really cool!! They’re renovating so had construction noise. Maybe check if that’s happening. But it didn’t bother us. Food allergy - I wrote beforehand and was told I could get a detailed menu for what in the buffet. Perfect. So that was a lie and then I got 3 different answers from 3 people. The chef tried to help but can’t be out at all times - my dairy allergy girl definitely suffered for coming here. Come with things planned. The front desk didn’t have info for us and the travel planner wasn’t there in the weekends - and so there was no cover. There was only karaoke for night entertainment most nights. Not or cup of tea so meh. But my kids enjoyed the pool tables and mini golf near the beach was a hit!!

I am so impress with this property. I read some reviews online and I was concerned coming in. I was gladly surprised. The resort is older but perfect for the rustic and natural experience. These are some of the best beaches in the world and the resort Couldn’t be better. I think many Americans that come down here don’t get the beauty and amazing opportunity to be in this location!!!

The worst property we have ever seen for a Caribbean resort, and we have been to many in 25 years. The beach and snorkeling were very good. The owner has done no upkeep on any of the resort. Food is very limited for choice. The owner doesn't realize that this property is a goldmine that he is not tapping into.

The resort is not as pristine as the pictures shown in your website. It is falling apart and neglected. This is false advertising!!!! The food was awful and there was no variety all week. The alcoholic drinks had water-downed alcohol. The staff was not friendly at all. The mini golf area is very deteriorated. On the first day, the "cabin" we stayed at did not have any hot water or bath towels. The bathroom vanity had broken knobs & doors. One shower head and the shower door were also broken. The store/boutique on the resort did not have any type of souvenirs or snacks we could purchase. The entire week I had to carry our passports & other documents everywhere we went because the safe in the "cabin" did not close/work properly. The ONLY positive thing I can say about this resort is that the beach is very clean & beautiful & the air conditioner worked the entire week we were there.
