"The hotel was lovely. Well maintained and staff helpful and happy. It was very quiet at night. Also positioned in the town for easy walking access to the shops. The lovely quilting and wool shop next door was a welcomed bonus."
"The view of the golf course from the window created a very nice atmosphere. Simple cooking is possible, but having running water would make the stay even more comfortable."
"Has everything you need including free parking and the staff were incredibly accommodating. Highly recommended. Location is very close to the mall and beach."
"First off, the reception greeting was good very polite. But ask them something out of the ordinary and you get a blank stare. No comprehension of what you are asking. The manager says things are available to you, but the front desk know nothing about it. Keep in mind that there are new owners now who are doing catch ups in quite a few areas. On the surface everything looks clean spotless and tidy. But behind those washing machines, toilets and dyers are months of dust, powder and assorted debris. The beds are pillow tops, but still rather firm. We stayed for a week and had sore backs at the end. They do supply lovely fluffy towels to die for though. All the kitchen utensils that you would need is supplied and in good working order. Some of the shelving were missing the plugs to hold them up, Luckily I travel with spares, so was able to fix them to use. The rooms are a bit sparse, could do with an extra chair and more pictures etc. on some walls. There are now a couple of food outlets within walking distance, especially a nice coffee shop near the station. Even though you are close to the station we didn't notice any noise from it. There is unfortunately building work being done next door. Also lots of steps to the entrance, no ramp for those who can't handle steps. You have to use the carpark ramp, but you need a keycard and we found they don't always work and were not able to speak to reception to let us in. Had to run to Front desk for help. Minor irritations."
"Great location. Good spacious room. Sauna & pool area was fantastic. There was a lot of sand or something at the bottom of the spa for the entire weekend"
