"The room was dirty, the bathroom had tons of water damage (so, probably lots of mold was painted over), the sheets were literally tattered on both beds, and they ran out of bedding for the pullout couch. One of the employees (I presume a cleaner/maid) used their keycards to walk into our room without knocking! I was sitting on the bed, stunned, and just looked at her as she said sorry and left. This was at 9 am, not past the checkout time!"
"Property is old and starting to show its wear. The shower was dirty, the walls were dirty, and the elevator was real dirty. It’s not bad location but it could use some upgrades and attention."
"Standard clean. Could have been better- such as cleaning out the vents and assuring the tvs did not have dead bugs in them. Saw staff cleaning multiple times per day. Restaurants nearby and an oyster restaurant next door. Breakfast was decent ran out of food 2 hours in- happened during the 5 day stay. Gym was decent as well.
A lot of homelessness near the highway. Stayed on 7th floor with the kitchenette- which was nice. Nice counter tops and nice appliances "
"The best thing about this hotel was the staff...everyone was friendly and helpful. There were quite a few cosmetic repairs needing done, such as the peeling paint above the pool. There were large pieces hanging down over a significant area of rhe ceiling. The indoor pool is small, and I had to leave after just 10 minutes because it felt like my lungs completely shut down between the humidity, high air temp, and chlorine fumes in the air. I was asked at the desk when booking the room whether I wanted to get points on my Hilton Rewards account or a free breakfast, and I chose the breakfast. However, the breakfast was still charged to my account the next day. The patio area outside the pool had a dead bird that looked like it had been there a few weeks. I expected much better from a Hilton hotel. The only real positive aspects were the staff and the food. Breakfast and dinner were both excellent! "
