"The hotel was very good but unfortunately the receptionist at the time i checked in could find no record of the fact that i had paid the hotel bill back in Feb 2025, so i had to pay the bill before she would give me my room access. In effect i was paying twice !!. I queried this strongly at the time ..."

"Overall stay at Bastion was acceptable but was let down by lack of attention to detail i.e. numerous requests for extra towels and toilet rolls. Also TV did not work and at the end of our stay had still not been resolved ( hotel notified 3 times). No kettle in room and again 3 requests before it ..."

"Across the street from RR station. 15 minute walk to main Christmas markets, excellent staff. RR Station unmanned Sunday mornings, which was a hassle when my train got cancelled and i had to "wing it" to get to Brussels."
