The food was outstanding in both quality and taste — a real highlight of our stay. But it wasn’t just the scenery or the fantastic room that made the experience memorable; it was the people. Every member of staff we met was welcoming, upbeat, and clearly proud of the service they provide. Our stay felt calm, comfortable, and well looked after from start to finish. It was a lovely break in the journey, and we left feeling refreshed. Thank you to the Duck Bay team for making our visit so enjoyable."

I was surprised one day my husband and I came back to find our pyjamas had been neatly folded and put on the bed. I missed having a hair dryer in the room and had to go out and buy a travel one. Most hotels and Premier Inns that my husband and I have stayed at supply a hairdryer. The breakfast was continental which we like. The mattress on the bed could have been a bit firmer but we managed. The staff were friendly. It was good value for money as our stay included breakfast. Also you could walk into town from the hotel."

"Overall, this wee hotel was excellent. We stayed there 3 nights with my kids. Staffs are outstanding, we had to check in after midnight. After wondering around the pub, bit worried, then call to their number and staff let us checked in. They were extremely helpful and friendly . I am not sure about customer service desk in the pub. Sometimes, bar staffs are little rude .. when hotel guest asks them for anything .. mistakenly! The hotel is in great location, lots of amenities around, lots of parking."
