"The property needs some upgrades. The beds are basic and not that comfortable (we both woke up with back aches). Our bathroom was not cleaned well, as there was hair in the shower and on the floor that wasn't mine. Also, the toilet would barely flush the first day and completely stopped flushing the second day. We left the keys on the entertainment center and left around 9:30am the day of checkout. The hotel called around noon and asked if we were checking out or staying longer. I recommend checking out at the front desk, if you do stay here."

"The room was acceptably clean, no breakfast offered with room, and the pool was overrun with a rowdy group who were grossly overstaying their numbers allowed to rooms (no fault of the hotel) causing management to close the pool. The lobby and hallways were kept nice and smelled pleasant. Overall a good stay, less the group of 50 or so rowdy guests whose children were unsupervised at the pool."

"DO NOT STAY IN THIS HOTEL!!! I could have given this room a no rating I would of. The 1st room we walked into wasn't cleaned at all had alcohol bottles on the bed. So they gave as another room. This one was at least clean when it came to the bed sheets but most of everything else was nasty. Food or nothing in the heater/ac unit, fridge and microwave were not cleaned. Something sticky on the phone, peeling wall paper in the bathroom above shower head, peeling wall paper around the main room,no smoke detector with exposed wires. Will never stay there again."

"The check in and stay were great. The only thing that is frustrating is not being told how much the hold on my card would be. Usually when you check in they tell you that. I had to call my bank to find out why I had a 500 pending charge. Other than that it was nice. The cleaning could be a little better as far as spots and stuff. "

"This was a good, basic hotel. We stayed for 3 nights as we toured Detroit and it worked well for us. The complimentary breakfast was good. The staff was friendly. I would recommend this hotel."

"My hotel stay was canceled by Residence Inn because after being given 3 different rooms, they all had dead bug over the pull out beds, so the hotel canceled my reservation and told my daughter and i to leave at 10/1030pm after we drove 9hours and 45 minutes to come stay for my mother's birthday party. The gave no alternative accommodations and told me I had to contact Hotels.com to get my money back. Hotels.com advised they would be issuing a refund as after speaking with the front desk person, it was acknowledged that the rooms provided to me had dead bugs on the mattress. To add insult to injury 2 woman over 500+ miles from home kicked out in the dark at a late hour, I see they have put a hold on my debit card today, 3/22 for no reason since you kicked me out. I wouldn't recommend anyone staying and if you stay anyway, check your room thoroughly."
