"We booked a stay for July 19th 2024. We were going to stay one night after watching the Tour de France on Isola 2000. We left early in the morning with a Eta of 11am. They closed the road at 10am 9 miles from the hotel. The tour was going to finish around 5pm. We had to turn around. It was crazy traffic. We contacted the Sowell via email through expedia and the email they sent us. It was a special situation and we would like a refund. They never answered both emails. Very disappointed.. "
"So the double rooms have three beds in them, and the triple rooms also have three beds in them… there is no difference between them besides the cost.
The lad on reception has no clue about anything. On the first day we asked about rental shops for skis and they said they’re nothing in Saint Etienne, only to find one right by the ski lift!
I extended our stay by 1 night and annoyingly had to change rooms after the first night. Our first room was alright, they were rationing the toilet paper...

Le restaurant est un pur délice : j’ai été servie comme une princesse, avec des plats savoureux et un service attentionné. L’auberge est nichée au cœur d’un hameau en pleine nature, au sommet des montagnes, offrant des vues à couper le souffle et une tranquillité absolue. Un endroit parfait pour se ressourcer. Je reviendrai sans hésiter !"
"So t be fooled by the listing of the property ! The picture of the SpA is a separate building different business and the cost is 27euros per day out of pocket . Room service is not provided as they list in the free amenities but u will have to do a deep cleaning of the room including washing the floors 😂before leaving otherwise it will cost you 49 euro, u will be charged for extra towels other wise u are shout out of luck if you have kids. Checking is AFTER 5 pm!!! Yep!

"The place is quite and calm if you wish to stay bring your own car to take you in valberg 15 min any time you want the town is nice but dont ecowct to be snowing in winter time theres no snow,, no traffic its a center of tge town"

La chambre est spacieuse , bien agencée et entretenue.
La restauration sur place est un plus voire indispensable car aucune superette dans cette micro station et un seul bar restaurant ouvert.
Prix de la restauration élevé (entre 26 et 32€), plat unique. Enfant à demi tarif.
Les petits et grands ont apprécié le baby-foot en libre accès.
L'aubergiste est serviable et propose des produits choisis, locaux et de saison.
Le service manquait de compétence mais la...
"Très bonne expérience. L’appartement hôtel est fonctionnel. Bonne literie. Équipements dans l’établissement conçus pour le bien être non négligeables (jacuzzi, piscine, salle de fitness), livres à disposition dans les parties communes… Très bonne communication avec Claire qui est très sympathique et bienveillante. J’y retournerai avec grand plaisir "
