"We had a seaview room that had a great view with a coffee table and two chairs in the window, but in general the room was a bit tired with flaking paint and the like. The shower was good. Sink taps only just reached the bowl. Toilet ok but seat was a bit loose and was dirty. However, after telling reception it was cleaned immediately and properly too. Bath sides clad in ply wood. My wife ahad previously stayed in the atrium rooms which she thought were better, whilst not having that view. Car parking is very tight but we managed to find a space every night."

"The hotel is a bit tired and the main restaurant was closed for dinner which we were not informed of when checking in. The staff were friendly and the amenities that were open were lovely. The breakfast was top notch."

"Not the most attractive building but very pleasant inside. The restaurant was closed but we ate in the bar which was good. The service was a bit disjointed - perhaps new staff? The pool was very cold which was disappointing. Great location for visiting the island. "

"We had a very pleasant one night stay in Douglas at The Claremont Hotel. Booking two rooms. We arrived early and were able to store our luggage at reception prior to check in. We parked our car over the road with free parking. The ocean view room was beautifully clean & tidy. The king bed was super comfy and spacious. We had a family dinner in the hotel, which was outstanding. Karen who served us was very professional, respectful and attentive. It really made our stay in Isle of Man a memorable one. Highly recommend. "

"I have just enjoyed a short stay at Kittiwake House. The apartment was exactly as described, with helpful information available about everything we needed. Well equipped little kitchen and a very comfortable two bedrooms. Beautiful views over Port Erin bay as we booked a sea view apartment. Clean and well kept, with a friendly welcome from the owner and manager and support and help if needed for any reason. I will return and very much enjoyed my stay. Thank you! "

"I arrived early due to my phone not working and I needed WiFi to message my sister. The host was so kind to let me in and use the WiFi and drop off my bags eventhough the room wasn't redy yet. She was very friendly and they iffered free coffee and breakfast. I felt very welcomed."
