Beautiful hotel, recently renovated which means they have state of the showers, beautiful throws and proper duvets, spotless white gorgeous bedding, fantastic decor throughout the hotel. The rooms are separated slightly from the fullers pub with a separate entrance. The breakfast was fabulous where you can order from a menu and food is made to order and fresh, included full English breakfast, eggs florentine, pancakes with fruit and maple syrup, porridge with fresh fruit. Great initial welcome from Mike, backed up by some wonderful idiosyncratic features that uplifted the stay. Complimentary Sipsmiths Sloe Gin in the room, choice of two single malt whiskies (also complimentary) and freshly brewed coffee at the refreshments station were unexpected and warmly enjoyed! Restaurant and bar staff were very helpful and food preparation and presentation were excellent. The breakfast of blueberry pancakes were the prettiest presentation we've ever seen.

Stay here for 3 nights, spotless clean and very good size room, breakfast good quality and might be a bit expensive for some. I'd definitely stay again

We had a lovely one night stay here. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The room was clean, a large shower room, and a very comfortable bed. We had dinner there and the food was lovely. The breakfast was included and also good - the chef came to take our orders for cooked food, and was very accommodating.

Its great to find a hotel you can stay for just one night over the weekend. I was looking for somewhere close to London (34 miles away), with great reviews, good food and accommodation and places to visit nearby. The Bel and Dragon had all of that. The room was tastefully furnished (with free sloe gin - added bonus!) and the hotel was cosy and characterful. We enjoyed a drink in the bar and a great dinner (although I noticed the bar food also looked enticing. There is a snug for hotel guests...

Haven’t been to Aviator Hampshire for a number of years, but it was just as lovely as I remembered. Room, Sky Bar, Breakfast, Staff - all exceptional. Special mention to Will on the front desk and Poppy who was assisting with breakfast in the morning. I’d highly recommend and I plan to return in the near future. Thank you!

We stay all over the country in hotels as our family are widespread. We have a dog this hotel provides excellent facilities for us. It has special rooms which allow you access to the garden 24 hours. The staff are so accommodating also, nothing is to much trouble. We had a family gathering on Sunday so decided on the carvery which was excellent. All in all first class service by first class staff in a first class hotel. Situated in a lovely setting.

Bit off the beaten track but well worth making the diversion for. Staff very hospitable. Room clean with welcoming chocolates and a decanter with a decent measure of whiskey. Bed comfortable and bathroom stocked with necessities. Food first class and a good selection of beers and ales. Ideal for business to unwind (good wifi all over). Good for romantic ramblers/cyclists.

The room was cosy and clean and lovely with an amazing shower. And plenty of hot water. Bed was super comfy and I slept very well. Staff very helpful and friendly.

Clean room and good value for money. Slightly under staffed in my opinion but the staff available where great. Very close to Hook Train station which is what I needed as this was a business trip to be close to Basingstoke. Had a great nights sleep.
