"This was perfectly adequate in terms of the accommodation, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. We do feel, however, that the pub is rather tired and ‘run down’, and would benefit from some investment. The towels were small and thin, the pillows were worn, and the en suite is in need of a few minor repairs. Food was quite good (better on our second night, which was a Saturday).
