"Stayed for 3 nights for a business trip, I chose the hotel mainly as I've been to the area a few times, been quite disappointed with others in the area and wanted a hotel that had a good location for things to do after work. The hotel is within walking distance of the main shopping town, lots of restaurants and bars and train station too and it proved to be perfect for me! The immediate surrounding area of the pantiles was lovely with plenty going on if you don't want to stray far but even...

"Cleanliness was terrible. Dirty room. Coffee left caked on teaspoon. Plastic fork with dust by bed by radiator. Stained sheets. Yuk. Had to park a distance from hotel. Breakfast was not good either."

"3 of us stayed in the 3 single bed family room on a room only basis the room was extremely clean with en suite shower room. The beds were very comfortable tea and coffee was supplied and when we needed more milk they bought us more. The room also had doors out to a little patio area overlooking a pool with fish and a lawn beyond."
