"This is a beautiful property with magnificent public rooms that can be used. Breakfast was wonderful and the hotel recommendation for a place for dinner just down the road was great. There is even an ice machine for guests to use, which is a big plus. My room was so small, however - that the only place to put my suitcase was on the floor, blocking either the bathroom door or the room door. I had to move my large suitcase around on the floor."

"The Uig Hotel is a beautiful and well-maintained hotel. My room was very very small but comfortable and the bathroom was well appointed. Lots of steps - up and down - which was difficult with a large suitcase. The lamp over my desk did not work so the hotel provided a lamp. Having a dining room was helpful for both dinner and breakfast, since the hotel is a little remote. A very pleasant stay!"

"Charming place to stay - beautifully overlooking the water. Very limited parking and difficult to get into especially if you have to park in the lower lot. We were only given hand soap for the bathroom - no shampoo, body wash or conditioner."

"The staff at this property were the absolute best and so kind and attentive. Leon was incredibly kind and helpful and all the wait staff and room service staff were awesome. I felt cared for and welcome and my stay as a woman traveling alone was the best I could have hoped for. I definitely recommend this breathtaking property and will be back! PS: make sure to experience the sauna!"

"I only stayed for one night - the room was very comfortable, had an en-suite bathroom and kettle with tea/coffee etc. Continental breakfast was brought to my room on a tray and the host was very helpful with directions for a shortcut to walk down into Ullapool. The house is on a quiet street just off the main road. Would recommend."
