"Owner was actively engaging with customers. My room was tiny, seems clean except for around the windows. I paid for the breakfast, it was small and had less options than you would get at a free breakfast in north America, nothing warm except for hard boiled eggs. "This hotel is fantastic and very beautiful. The staff are the best and very professional. The afternoon tea was great with a full selection of small treats. The breakfast was excellent as well. This castle boasts a museum and the opportunity to explore which makes it a great place to visit with children even if just for the day. Of our 2.5 week trip to 3 countries, staying here was the highlight."
