"My wife and I stopped for a short stay while traveling through Germany/Austria. This is a charming family run boutique/ bed and breakfast style hotel. The family was very helpful in giving information about the area and fully explained all hotel amenities. The breakfast was excellent. They had a wide selection of breakfast items.I have a gluten allergy and they accommodated me which was a bonus. I highly recommend this hotel and hope to stay here again in the future."

"We came here to do a little business and see our friends in Salzburg. It had a 10 out of 10 rating and it does NOT disappoint. It has a nice little gym, a pool that when empty is a fine lap pool and an outdoor jacuzzi with amazing hiking trails and views of the mountains . I wish we had time to get a massage or other services but too busy and chose the electric bikes instead. You can even bike into the town of Bad Reichenhall which has great shopping (Juhausz!)…. Love this place."

"The hotel looks lovely. The room was a good size with balcony. We arrived late but they provided clear instructions how to get into the building and collect our room key. They provided tea bags but no kettle to boil some water but there was a coffee machine but no capsules. So that was a little disappointment. Part from that all was good. "

"We were greeted at check in with a glass of prosecco each before going to the room. The room was a family room which provided a very spacious bedroom and seperate living room with a sofa bed. The spa facilities were absolutely beautiful and being located so close to the car park for us was ideal. Pet friendly and the area of Bad Reichenhall is absolutely stunning. We would stay in this hotel again tomorrow if we could. Loved it."

"We had a wonderful stay at the Avalon hotel. Its really modern and a short walk into the centre of Bad Reichenhall, which is a beautiful town. The breakfast was excellent and the staff really friendly. Its a great base to explore the area, would definitely recommend."

"Lovely friendly hotel - staff were all extremely accommodating and helpful. We felt very welcome with our toddler. Our room was large and warm with a beautiful view of the mountains. Easy parking, delicious breakfast, excellent food at the hotel restaurant and within easy reach of Salzburg and nearby winter sports. Would recommend and stay again!"

"Location of the Property was excellent. Staff was professional helpful and great hospitlity. Only suggestion is to keep a kettle and coffee / Tea making oossible in the room so that early risers can have a cup of coffee or Tea befire the breakfast is ready."

"An AMAZING hotel. Room was impeccable, breakfast was delicious, the owners are super-kind. There is a wellness center with an indoor and outdoor pool, sauna, meditation spaces, and a lake nearby with private access to a beach and seats. Couldn't be happier. Access to Salzburg is an easy 10-15 minutes. I hope to go back. "
