"Nice, clean room, great convenient location, and delicious breakfast!"

"The George hotel in Rye offers a charming stay with a central location and helpful staff. The comfortable beds and a delicious breakfast were definite highlights. Its bar is also great, boasting a fantastic atmosphere. However, our (entry level) room was a little on the small side. Despite the cozy quarters, the hotel provides a very pleasant and enjoyable experience."

"Escaping to the country has never been more fun and magical. The resident robin and all his many friends keep you in that chilled mindset. The town of Rye was 10 mins by car and full of historical charm. It was even being used for filming while we visited. We walked from Rye to Camber sands along the cycle path and there are frequent buses back. "

"Great stay, we will be coming back over the next few weeks. Shoutout to James who was the reception host who made us feel at home. "My son and I had a lovely stay in The Old Borough Arms. Excellent staff, supremely welcoming and friendly. They go above and beyond for their guests. "Everything about our stay could not be faulted. Friendly reception on arrival. Told all we needed to know straight away and made to feel very welcome. Separate restaurants as we had our dogs with us and we were the only ones in ours but still were treated very attentively. Good varied menu with several specials on offer.
