"Very disappointed in the Bonvoy Group for what is clearly premature opening of a new hotel. The hotel is 3 weeks old as of month end 6/26. Still too many things don’t work. Room on the first day: AC could not be controlled, TV didn’t work. Room on the second day: bedside lights and electrical outlets don’t work (too tired to move again). No dishes, silverware, shampoo etc. you have to ask. They apologized for not having a full suite of dishes to provide, I guess they don’t want to drive the 400 yards to Walmart to keep there supplies stocked. Staff is never at front desk. "The hotel is beautiful, but it lacks some of the basic amenities that you would naturally expect from a place that charges you this much. For example, no coffee in the rooms (except packets of instant espresso they will deliver if you call), wash cloths, cleaning of your room during your stay unless specifically requested, water spills ALL over the floor from the shower due to the design, and the beds are truly terrible. On the other hand, I would like Expedia's reservation process to be more explicit regarding accommodation payments, as sometimes the charge is made directly and other times they collect at the hotel, as was the case here, which confuses the customer."

"I needed a last-minute place to stay near the airport. The photos looked decent, and it was cheap. This is hands down the dirtiest, most run-down property I have ever stayed at. The restroom reeked of pot. The room was disgusting with stained walls and doors. The shower was falling apart, with the shower curtain letting all the water spill on the floor. "Parking and proximity to the Padres game is the best thing about this property. The smell was very off putting. Definitely needs a scent, it was an annoying Bleach plus Insect spray in the air. The internet password does not work. The Air condition needs conditioning. It’s a nice room if you just need to put your stuff in a room while you’re downtown and want to sleep for an hour or two. I could open the door from the bed… so it’s not the best. 3/10 for me"

"My experience at your motel was disappointing. The carpet in my room was dirty and had several unpleasant-looking stains. In addition, there were individuals loitering in the hallways and near the entrance, which made me feel uncomfortable and concerned about my safety. Overall, the condition of the property and the atmosphere did not meet my expectations. It certainly did not reflect the standards or quality portrayed in your advertising."
