"Clean, comfortable and convenient for our purposes. Flew in late; nice to stay, then spend some time in Sac the next day before the 90-minute drive home."
"This place was nice and quiet. I can’t complain about the room. The only thing I didn’t like is that it says they provide breakfast but they don’t. They provide fruit, wrapped bread and something to drink. Not hot breakfast at all. Other than the staff was nice and the stay was good."
"Upon checking into my room on the third floor, I was immediately hit with the smell of fish that was clearly trying to be hidden with a powerful spray. I went back k to the lobby to request a room change and the front desk said they were fully booked. The manager then joined in and asked what room I was in and she immediately knew it was the room that “smelled like fish”. She then said “would you like for me to go up and spray it?”- no. While escorting me to my new room on the 6th floor she said “we should close that room until we figure out where it is coming from… we can’t find it”. Hotel is dated. I would not stay again. Upon checking out, a mother and daughter were being told they were overbooked and being offered the Marriott across the street. I won’t stay here again."
"The staff at the Hyatt are excellent. They are patient, kind, helpful and knowledgeable. I would come back to stay on that alone. The room with the double bed was spacious along with the bathroom. The beds were comfortable and the shower heated up quickly with great water pressure. There was an iron and ironing board that we utilized and unfortunately the iron had some black smudges on it that transferred to my white top, but fortunately my top was inside out and the black smudge was able to be rubbed off the iron with a towel without further incident. The heater and cooler worked great. Our room had a view of the pool and Capitol Park. It was lovely. The pool was heated at a very comfortable temperature. I actually preferred it over the hot tub. There were big soft towels available too. We also had access to complementary water and ice at the machines they had throughout the hotel. The 2 downsides of our experience was the super tight parking spaces and WiFi. For the $25 self parking space, I had to fold in my mirrors on my car and squeeze through my door carefully as to not hit the car next to me and I am a petite person. I would recommend paying the $45 for the valet parking instead. In regards to the WiFi, it worked great for texting, calling and basic email but for streaming (Prime movies, Hulu, YouTube, etc.) it was non existent. I didn't mention it to the staff because we weren't in our room long enough for it to be a problem. Overall, the hotel was great. "
"Delightful hotel made out of a real decommissioned paddle wheeler. First time I’ve ever had ear plugs provided by a host and I needed them at 4 am because of the sea lions outside the hotel on the opposite shore!"
"The place is going through renovation. However, the room was clean and comfortable, the bed and sheets were really comfy. The Old City Waterfront were just a few steps away. We were really happy 😊"
