"Amazing hotel connected to the transit line with several restaurants and shops directly below you. It was immaculate with great hot tubs /saunas and the roof top lounge area provided some of the best sunset views I’ve ever seen. If you’re missing some familiar cuisine, take the short walk/taxi to Que Pasa Restaurant. Where I had the best burrito I’ve ever eaten. Hotel Emion is trulya gem of Kyoto."

"My son and I really enjoyed our stay at Ryokan Yamazaki, the staff were incredibly kind and helpful from checking us in, to making sure we ate and helping to order us cabs. We loved staying at a traditional style Japanese home, and the location was up in the north west area of Kyoto away from the crowds and tourists which we appreciated, and the beauty of the mountains and neighborhoods. I recommend this place to anyone who wants to experience a traditional Japanese stay."

"I wanted to give more than five stars for everything. This was a truly unique, incredible experience. The staff make you feel like you’re the only one staying there. I don’t think I’ve ever been this impressed with a hotel stay. It was incredible, and breakfast was delightful every morning!"
