"The reception staff were amazing - so welcoming and polite. The location was very good in terms of access to the beach but quite a drive to restaurant area. Service at the bar was incredibly slow- over 20 minutes to get a glass of wine despite the fact that there were only two guests at the bar! The bar man was preoccupied chatting to another guest! "Totally bare facility. AC not found or not working. Had to rent linen. Not a hotel but a rental apartment where you have to bring everything with you except for the bed itself. "

"We stayed in a self catering apartment which had superb views across the lagoon and to the sea and was operated by the hotel. The reception, bar and gardens were well presented , however, the apartment itself could not be described as 5 star as it was in need of refurbishment. We always assume that 5 star means luxurious, but would suggest that 3 star would be a more suitable classification for the apartment in its current condition.
