"Very quiet location but near enough to the Normandy beaches and ferry terminal at Caen. We had a lovely big bedroom and en-suite in Tom's well renovated home. All the breakfast options were tempting but we went down the croissant, pain au chocolat, crusty bread route. Tom was very friendly and attentive. We hope to return when next in the area."

"Veldig hyggelig sted med hyggelig personale. Rent og fint rom, god frokost og deilig med ett bad i bassenget. Burde vært AC på rommet"

"Jättetrevlig upplevelse. En stor gård ute på landsbygden. Lite svårt att hitta dit. Super trevlig värd. Vi kommunicerade via Google eftersom han inte kunde Engelska, men det gick jättebra. Åt en härlig fransk middag på gården. Enda negativa var lite hårda kuddar annars bra för någon natt. Lite annorlunda. Mycket värt att åka dit."

"The room was very clean and well laid out. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Parking was very convenient. Breakfast was satisfactory."

"I had a great stay here while visiting Normandy!"

"Of all the places we stayed on our three-week trip, Le Doux Refuge was by far our favourite. That means a lot to me, It’s hard to know where to start when explaining why we loved it here. Firstly, the location: quiet, safe, local and with easy access to every possible location in Normandy. Secondly, the accommodation: beautifully decorated,...

"très bon accueil à recommander nous reviendrons"

"A wonderful lodge for the last night in France 🇫🇷 we wish we could have stayed longer. My children loved the little hide away bedroom and the roll top bath. Clemence offered an excellent dinner recommendation at a local craft beer tap room. The food was divine! As was the beer. We would highly recommend this accommodation."

"Great stay and really cool historical building. If arriving late be aware that parking might be tough and you might need to park in a nearby garage."
