Its a great location with spectacular views and beautiful sunsets. Beds are very comfortable. Staff is lovely. Place could use some updates but the overall experience is great. Love the hot tub and the pool.

The room was very clean, get cleaned everyday . The staff are all nice. The sauna wasn’t clean at all spiders were everywhere. The Jacuzzi wasn’t working for two nights et the next two nights, it was working but it smelled horrible like mold and p..s. The swimming pool was quite cold. I booked the hotel because they advertise a gym but there is no gym ( few cardio machines most of them don’t work )

Disappointed overall by the auberge A great space with pool, spa and sauna but clearly lacking of maintenance ; water from pool and spa were not clean Gym room was ok but also not clean Room was fine; beds are very comfortable: good sleep! Breakfast is good; they are lacking of personnel, which leads to long delays to be served/ assisted All the personnel met was smiling, nice and helpful, which makes the stay pleasant

Instant tranquility. Surrounded by nature. On the side of a mountain overlooking farms, Lac Vert and Lac Noir. Minutes away from St Jean de Matha. Magnificent views of autumn leaves all around the property plus valley lookout. Bright stars at night. Lots of cozy spots to relax with several outdoor fireplaces and chairs in the evening. Walking paths amongst trees by day. Serene pool and hot tub. Restaurant in House. Bilingual. Reception area for special occasions such as destination wedding.

Place is great in general, only little detail is pool area; windows are very dirty around the door and sauna is a bit dirty with spider webs and just didn’t feel super clean. Pool is extremely cold, we still enjoyed all of it as we were with loved ones. Brunch was good.

The path to the reception hall from the hotel lobby was difficult to walk in heels because of the gravel floor. Stairs should have rails too.

This hotel did not appear to have been updated since the 1980s. It is rated as a 4 star hotel - which may have been true 30-40 years ago. Today it would be generous to give this property 2.5 stars. The owners have been delaying updating and repairs for quite some time clearly, and many important details and repairs are overlooked.

During our 3 night stay, at no point did anyone come to our room to take care of the trash, provide new coffee pods, or offer new towels. For the price paid, we would have expected a better basic service. Further, the rooms are a bit dated for this pricing point.
