Le 100 St-Laurent

"I highly recommend a stay at The 100 Laurent b&b. In fact, I found it to be one of those places you discover that makes you reconsider reviews you've written in the past, wishing that perhaps you should not have been quite as enthusiastic and generous. The 100 Laurent really is a lovely place to stay. The house is wonderful, built as the home of one of the area's early industrialists. The rooms, coming off either side of the central hallway upstairs and down, are roomy, with large windows including stained glass upper portions, and transomed doorways. There is varnished wood trim everywhere, perhaps walnut. While the house would not be out of place in a Robertson Davies novel, the amenities, plumbing, fixtures, heat and a/c are totally modern, making for a comfy stay. Saving the best for last, your host Rejean is a character! He is very engaging and made us laugh and feel very welcome. He is also the cook! Breakfast was delicious made with local ingredients. It 's a nice place to stay."

"Tout est parfait, le personnel est formidable, tout est très propre, une très belle valeur qualité prix, par contre le wifi était vraiment pas bon et mon matelas beaucoup trop dur mais dans tous les cas ça vaut le coût."

"Writing We had a pleasant stay overall. The property is beautiful, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. We stayed in room 117, which unfortunately was quite noisy due to a group partying and dancing in the banquet room above us. We brought this to the staff’s attention, and they promptly spoke with the group and advised them that the noise had to stop by 11 p.m. The group respected this, and we appreciated the staff’s efforts to address the situation. Unfortunately, there were no other rooms available, so moving wasn’t an option. While the noise was frustrating and affected our comfort, we felt the staff did what they could to help. Unfortunately we weren’t there long enough to enjoy the spa which looked amazing. On a positive note, the rooftop hot tub was wonderful and very relaxing! With such a beautiful property and friendly staff, we would have enjoyed our stay even more without the noise issue."

"I've stayed in many hotels and only a handful of them have had clean rooms. This hotel was definitely well kept, the rooms were very clean. The only thing I would suggest is having lotion in the room as one of the toiletries, they had everything else but that. One minor inconvenience (but given that there was a wedding I'm sure this was an exception), there was music playing late through part of the night, not loud from where I stayed but you could hear it. Parking is free and you park where you want on the lot which was very convenient. The staff were very nice and accommodating, they spoke both English and French. Their on-site restaurant Table G was fantastic! The dinner and breakfast that I had was great, they really did a great job. Overall I would recommend this hotel to anyone who happened to be coming in this area."
