"Excellent hotel "

"Our stay at “au pays de Jacquou” was absolutely wonderful. Somehow remote, but also close enough (7 km) to Thenon, the village where we attended a wedding. "Hôtel très confortable et très calme. "

"Pleasant property and host Jean-Christophe. After road trip we were looking forward to cup of tea, but no tea & coffee facilities in room. Hadn't planned to travel for dinner but appreciated the restaurant reservation in Perigeux at Hercule Poireau (cave) restaurant, great atmosphere, personable staff and beautifully presented, delicious cuisine. ."

"Chateau was beautifully decorated. Small elevator to bring our bags to first floor. Owner helped carry bags from entrance stairs to elevator. Robert and his wife were gracious and helpful."
