"A large modern hotel on the East side of the village with a lovely harbor view, nice outdoor pool ( chilly in early April) and indoor pool and gym. The breakfast is great. Ask for a sea view room. There are several inexpensive decent restaurants just down the street from the Hotel the Vila Velha being the best (more expensive). Walk out on the undeveloped rocky point to big cliffs overlooking the sea and have a picnic. "

"Stayed two nights (Fri-Sun) in August for 1,000 Euro. Breakfast was included, but left so early Sunday we only had one morning of breakfast. Breakfast options were amazing. There was abundance of everything. Evrerything else on property was super pricey $$$$. Mundi restaurant buffet was 42 Euro per person. Fri meals was a tex-mex type display. A lot of items overcooked, dry, and bland. You are better off eating upstairs at the Gastropub for much better quality and maybe at a lower cost...
